SNS投稿を始めて1年。収益はまだでも、お金以上に大切なもの

YouTubeやTikTok、InstagramといったSNSでチュートリアル動画の投稿を始めて、まもなく1年になります。
It's been nearly a year since I started posting tutorial videos on social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

実を言うと、収益はまだ発生していません。
To be honest, I haven't made any income from it yet.

ですが、この1年間で培ってきた経験や習慣、そして身についたスキルは、お金には代えられない、私にとってかけがえのない財産だと感じています。
However, the experience, habits, and skills I’ve gained over the past year are invaluable treasures that can’t be measured by money.

英語も動画制作も、地道な継続が力に

実は、私が「英語を使って生計を立てる」ことができるようになるまでには、30年以上の時間がかかりました。
It actually took me over 30 years to reach the point where I could earn a living using English.

毎日の英語学習時間は平均して40分ほど。
I studied English for about 40 minutes each day on average.

決して特別な才能があったわけでも、何か明確な目標があったわけでもないのです。
I didn’t have any special talent or a clear goal.

ただ「いつか英語に関わる仕事ができたらいいな」と漠然と思いながら、地道に英語と向き合い続けてきました。
I just vaguely hoped that someday I could work with English, and kept learning steadily.

そうして気がつけば、オンライン英会話講師という仕事を自分の生業にできるまでになっていたのです。
Before I knew it, I had become an online English conversation teacher.

動画制作も、この経験とどこか重なる部分があると感じています。
I feel that creating videos has a lot in common with this experience.

投稿を続ける中で身についた編集スキルや構成力、そして英語での表現力は、かつての語学学習のように、少しずつですが確実に私を成長させてくれているのを実感しています。
The editing, structure, and English expression skills I’ve developed through continued posting have slowly but surely helped me grow, just like my language studies.

「成果が見えない…」と感じているあなたへ

収益という点だけを見れば、まだ「成果が出ていない」と感じるかもしれません。
From a purely financial standpoint, it may seem like there are no results yet.

しかし、この動画制作の経験を通して得たものの価値は、計り知れないものがあります。
However, the value of what I’ve gained through video production is immeasurable.

たとえば、「伝える力」が向上したことは、英語講師としての自信にもつながり、生徒さんへのレッスンにも深みが出てきたように感じています。
For example, improving my communication skills has boosted my confidence as a teacher and enriched my lessons.

これは私にとって、とても喜ばしい変化です。
This is a very positive change for me.

ですから、もし今、「成果が見えない」と感じている方がいらっしゃったら、ぜひお伝えしたいことがあります。
So if you’re feeling like your efforts aren’t paying off, there’s something I want to tell you.

焦る必要はありません。どんなにゆっくりとした歩みでも、学び続けることで道は自然と開けていくものです。
There’s no need to rush. Even the slowest progress can eventually open doors through continued learning.

かつての私がそうであったように。
Just like it did for me.

語学も、そして動画制作も、「続けた人だけがたどり着ける場所」が必ずあると信じています。
I believe there’s a place that only those who keep going can reach- both in language learning and video creation.

今後も私は、学びと発信を通して、同じように努力を重ねる方々の力になれるような存在でありたいと思っています。
Going forward, I hope to continue learning and sharing to support others who are on the same path.
