サブチャンネルとライフワークとしての英語学習

2023年8月にYouTubeのサブチャンネルを開設しました。それ以来、2本の通常動画と約800本のショート動画を投稿してきました。
In August 2023, I launched a YouTube sub-channel. Since then, I’ve posted two regular videos and about 800 short videos.

技術的に未熟な点もありますが、「無」から「形あるもの」を生み出す喜びを強く感じています。
Although there are still technical shortcomings, I deeply enjoy the process of creating something from nothing.

英語との40年と今の仕事

約40年間、途中のブランクを挟みながらも英語学習を続け、今ではオンライン英会話講師として働いています。
Over the past 40 years, despite some breaks, I’ve continued studying English and now work as an online English conversation teacher.

明確なゴールがあったわけではありませんが、「英語を一生のライフワークにしたい」という想いが学習を支えてきました。
Although I didn’t have a clear goal, my desire to make English a lifelong pursuit has supported my learning.

自分で学び、自分で築いた今

約20年前に独学で学んだウェブサイト制作のスキルが、現在の自営業に大きく役立っています。
The web design skills I taught myself about 20 years ago have significantly contributed to my current self-employment.

好きなことを仕事にできることで、心に余裕が生まれ、人間関係も良好になりました。
Doing what I love as a job gives me peace of mind and helps maintain good relationships with others.

ライフワークとして生きる

ゴールに固執せず、スキルを育てる過程を楽しむことが、ライフワークへとつながります。
By not fixating on goals and enjoying the process of skill-building, it naturally becomes a lifelong pursuit.

それが収入にもつながるのであれば、理想的な生き方と言えるでしょう。
If that also leads to income, then it’s an ideal way of life.
